Falling Over (or you Must be Trippin')

I'm pretty happy with the lift project, but the last portion - the fall - has been bothering me. So, I leapt out into the deep dark internet to solve this problem.

You can imagine my surprise to find many, MANY compliations of people falling in different ways.

thank you, youtube.com

I hope you cringe/enjoy this as much as I did.

Compliation of People Falling Down (youtube)

Before the end of the day, I'll have it completely blocked and ready to finalize.

I was crusing the personal ads..

Oh, wait, no. I was searching on google for lifting reference and found a great resource!
www.crossfiteastside.com has a bunch of awesome step-by-step weight lifting information and photos. This one is now my computron's background.

Progress report!

With two weeks left until the end of the semester, deadlines are coming in quick.
I've got 4 animations plus a web page (www.margotcannon.com) to finish and post before December 16th.
First animation is a simple walk cycle with some fun attitude. She's got coffee and it's gunna be a good day. Look for that soon!

Second on the list is a two character lift. Think fat jokes but with a sense of sweetness. A guy is damn sure he can pick up a gal- who turns out to be a good bit heavier than she seems. but, he pushes through.. and almost makes it! but (surprised surprise!) fails.

Third animation is a 'fishing exercise'. I had started this one a long while ago, spent a total of 4 hours in the blocking, and am now getting back to it. Does anyone actually go fishing on an inter tube?

The fourth thing is a 'wushu'. Not as interesting as it could be, but we'll see what can be done about it. It's last on my list of things to putz with.

I've got an appointment with Chris Armstrong on Thursday to petition to graduate. Wish me luck!
